SUSPEND

Do you need to take a break? Suspending your membership is the best option for you if you are planning on returning at a later date, as it allows you to keep your current membership rate. (This saves you $10-15/month for life when you resume your membership!)

YOUR NEXT STEPS

SUBMIT THE FORM BELOW

We’ll ask your preferred suspension start & end dates (or approximate end date, if known).

Please note we do have a minimum 2-week suspension period.

WE WILL CONTACT YOU TO CONFIRM YOUR SUSPENSION

We will confirm once we have this set up for you. Please note: we charge a $10 suspension fee per 28-day period your account is on hold. (Students: we assess a one-time $15 suspension fee in place of a recurring charge.)

WE'LL SEND YOU A REMINDER WHEN YOUR ACCOUNT IS SCHEDULED TO REACTIVATE

We'll send you a reminder 7 days before your account is scheduled to reactivate, so you can schedule your classes before your membership starts back up again!

Memberships may be suspended for between 14 and 60 days per calendar year. Students: you may suspend for up to 30 days once per academic year and again during the spring/summer semester. This date will default to 60 days after your suspension start date if you leave this field blank.

Are you suspending for medical reasons?
Are you on a 4- or 8-session student membership?
(1) Have you already suspended your membership for 60 days or at least 2 times over the past 12 months OR (2) are you requesting to suspend for over 60 days on this suspension?
Please list the reason for your suspension (optional).

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use my sessions while my membership is suspended?

Unfortunately, our system doesn't allow you to continue taking classes while you are suspended.

I am currently on an unlimited membership, but know this membership option is currently waitlisted. Will I be able to reinstate my unlimited membership when I return?

You may return on an unlimited membership for your first month back, but you may be added to our unlimited waitlist after this point, as we open up unlimited memberships to other waitlisted clients when we have current unlimited members suspend. (Unlimited memberships are in high demand, but unfortunately, we just don't have the capacity to be able to accommodate everyone!)

Is there a minimum or maximum amount of time that I can suspend my membership?

We can suspend your membership in 2-week increments. We do ask that you suspend for a maximum of 60 days per rolling calendar year, but may waive this in certain situations.

What is the difference between suspending & cancelling?

Suspending your membership allows you to continue at your same membership rate or rate tier when you return. If you cancel your membership and return at a later date, you may be charged a higher rate, or be required to commit to a longer term, or both.

What are my options if I'm injured or need to have surgery?

We offer free medical suspensions.

I am a student. Can I suspend for the summer?

Yes, of course! We allow one suspension between 14 and 30 days during the academic year, and an additional suspension of any duration during the summer.

I am a student. Can I suspend if I'll be off campus next semester?

Yes, of course! Please note this in the comments field. We will happily make an exception for off campus study/study abroad.
